Edgebrook Apartments

Edgebrook is a 29 unit residential development located adjacent to Kedron Book in Lutwyche.

A significant design challenge for this project was ensuring the 3 storey basement carpark could sustain the flows and pressures of the flood level waters of Kedron Brook. The combination of seacant perimeter piles, ground anchors and 250 tonnes of reinforced concrete provides the external basement walls to this fortress.

Delivered under an amended AS4902 design and construct contract, Symmetry Projects acted as both project manager and contract superintendent on behalf of the developer.
